Other Retailers

We're constantly looking to increase the number of our retailer partners, in order to offer you a greater coverage of the market and expect to add more new retailers soon.

One question we are often asked is why all tyre retailers are not included in our search results. Names like Kwik-Fit, Blackcircles and ATS are often mentioned.

The answer to this is simple. We only include prices on our website from companies who actively want to work with us. Like Aviva and Direct Line in the car insurance sector, some retailers have actively decided they don't wish to work with comparison websites. This is often because they wish to rely on their brand names to market their products and wish to avoid being compared with other retailers on a level playing field. Some retailers also think that comparison sites will result in prices being pushed downwards - good for the consumer but not so good for retailers who wish to maximise profits by maintaining high prices.

In our experience the online prices offered by the established high street tyre retailers tend, by and large, not to be competitive with those offered by the keenest online specialists, so in many ways, it's understandable why they would prefer this not to be made obvious. Their focus tends to be on service and the security offered by their brand name.

Blackcircles, on the other hand, is a specialist online retailer, which has grown to be arguably the best known of the online tyre retailers. Their prices do generally tend to be competitive with the rest of the online market. We do have an affiliate relationship with Blackcircles so if you would like to compare their prices you can do so here. For the time being, however, they do not wish for their prices to be featured on our search results page. If their policy on this changes, we'll be certain to let you know.

We are always open to ideas to improve this site, so if you have any constructive suggestions, please feel free to email us - your comments will be gratefully received.

Finally, if you have used this site to compare tyre prices and you have found it to be useful, please use the links on our site, when you make your purchase - they are what keeps us in business.
